It's not too late to go pro, but you've gotta be insane at the game or have an insane team. Only play edit courses / building courses until you have your mechanics down somewhat and then move onto fighting players for practice(box fight, zone wars), it'll give you a lot more practice for in game fights and it'll help you master your mechanics under pressure. I would say if you want to and believe you can then give it a try, I would start off in creative and get your mechanics down, play tons of zone wars etc. For me, motivation was the biggest cause for me to quit because epic decides to change the loot pools so much and at the time it was really toxic, who says they won't start doing that stuff again? (They probably won't but still) (this is the best season in a while for comp imo)Īs to answering your question if it's worth becoming pro or not, do you have the time, can you be doing better things for your age, do you have the motivation to play are all questions you should ask yourself before you start becoming pro.
